How did we make it?
1. We used 2 boxes of White Cake Mix and mixed the batter according to the recipe on the box.
2. Divide the batter into 6 different bowls
3. Put some Wilton Food coloring into each bowl (a different color per bowl). We got our Wilton food coloring at Michaels. It is important that you use this brand as it is bright and vibrant even after the cake has been cooked.
4. Bake each separate color using a round cake pan. (Makes 6 cakes altogether)
5. After the cakes cooled, we put them together with a layer of icing in between to help hold them together.
6. We iced the cake and decorated it with skittles, sprinkles and cotton candy.
